Brendan Mooney is the Trustee Chief Operating Officer of the HSBC Pension Trust (UK) Limited. He joined HSBC in June 2021.

Brendan has over 35 years’ experience within the pensions administration industry and joins HSBC after 12 years with Willis Towers Watson (WTW) where he was the Head of Technical Pensions Administration Operations. He has experience of managing the operations of pensions administration teams and client service delivery within the third party service provider environment and prior to joining WTW he was a partner at Hymans Robertson LLP with overall responsibility for their pensions administration practice.

Brendan is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has been a regular speaker on pensions administration matters at industry events.
